Tide Watchers

Tide Watchers
About this painting:

Beaches on Sable Island are plentiful with wildlife . . . harp seals, walrus, and sea birds of all kinds. Here a colony of black-backed herring gulls wait for the water to recede, so they can feast on crab, clams and other edible debris washed up by the tide.
